I know what the consistency of the acrylic should be, I've been doing this for over 30 years now….”You can't tell me what the consistency of the investment should be, I do this every day and I know what your investment should look like and what it should feel like”…

I cannot argue with this logic concerning your expertise and longevity in terms of using materials. However, it would behoove all of us, from time to time to revisit the DFU’s for products.

Manufacturers attempt to keep close watch on raw materials and their specifications, however, issues arise with suppliers. They change availability of raw materials, their specs may not be as tight as expected, etc..  When this occurs, it may be necessary to adjust timers, temperatures and ratios or measurements on the DFU.

Periodically revisit the DFU to “Make sure you are on track”!
